Orea has rapidly over the past five years become synonymous with the best of specialty coffee, from the first Orea released the community around the dripper exploded and this “little monster” as it was often refered became a go to brewer for many baristas around the world – most notably in competition.
Orea has shown constant innovation, reiterating previous models to continue improving on what was already from day one perfect. The O1 in our is an accumulation of all of the perfect features of the Orea put into one, tiny yet mighty little brewer.
The O1 weighs only 52g and is made from a single piece BPA-Free Tritan with a thick 3mm wall to provide optimum thermal stability. Recommended recipes range from 10-18g of coffee making this a suitable dripper for one or two people.
What we really love about the O1 is its versatility; you can use this dripper with Wave style papers (we really love the Sibarist B3) or Flat Papers using a negotiator or even using conical papers. The open bottom allows for fast flow with minimal contact points, but with the addition of a Sibarist Booster you can change the flow and the bed dynamics.
This tiny brewer has quickly made it’s way into our hearts as our go-to dripper and is now the dripper we are using in service at our roastery location in Porto. We are sure you will love it as much as we do!
